Sola Studio ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how it's protected.

Information we collect

• Contact form: name, email address, and any message you send us.

• Booking (via Jane App): name, email, phone number, and any health history or intake information you provide before your appointment.

• Payment and insurance (via Jane App): payment details are processed directly by Jane's payment processor; we do not store your card information. If you use direct billing, your extended health insurance details are shared with your insurer solely to process your claim.

• Website analytics: standard visit data (pages viewed, general location, device type) collected automatically through Squarespace's built-in analytics and cookies.

How we use this information

• To schedule, confirm, and manage your appointments

• To provide safe, informed treatment based on your health history

• To process payment and, where applicable, direct bill your extended health insurance

• To respond to messages sent through our contact form

• To understand how visitors use our website, in order to improve it

Who we share it with

• Jane App, our booking and practice management software, which stores your booking and intake information

• Your extended health insurer, only if you use direct billing, and only the information needed to process that claim

• We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

How we protect it
Your information is stored securely through Jane App's systems. Access to health intake and booking records is limited to your treating therapist and studio administration.

Retention
We retain booking and health intake records for as long as required under British Columbia's regulations for massage therapy record-keeping, and delete or anonymize other information when it's no longer needed for the purposes above.
